Shree Someshwar Sahakari Sakkare Karkhane Niyamit, Bailhongal.
We are a Cooperative sugar factory, located at Belawadi, near Bailhongal, Dist Belagavi, Karnataka, India. The factory is owned by the share holders and the State Government of Karnataka, India.
The society was registered as a cooperative sugar factory almost 30 years back, by our founder, Late Shri Ramesh Balekundaragi of Bailhongal. Currently, Shri Basavaraj Ramesh Balekundaragi is chairman of the factory.
We have started production in the year 2000. Currently, the factory has around 25000 members, most of whom are cane growers in and around Bailhongal. Average production of sugar is around 3,00,000 metric tonnes per year.
